3:00 – 6:00 PM         Informational booths & kids activities

3:30 PM                     Live eagle presentation by the National Eagle Center

4:30 – 6:30 PM         Locally produced meal: $7 adults, $4 ages 12 & under

6:00 PM                     Community Band

 

MENU:

Roast pork - LitscherÕs Processing

Homemade bread – SEMN Food Network (Yes, the wheatÕs local!)

Cheese – Southeast Minnesota Food Network

Hot green bean salad – Southeast Minnesota Food Network

Green salad with strawberries – Southeast Minnesota Food Network

Homemade Ice Cream – Ranison Ice Cream (La Crosse)

Maple Syrup – Cross of Christ Lutheran Church

Honey – B&B Honey Farm           

 

All tableware will be compostable!  Cups and utensils are made out of CORN; bowls, plates, and hot cups are made out of SUGAR CANE FIBER.  WeÕre aiming for a ZERO WASTE event!

Bring in your lead tackle to exchange it for free non-lead alternatives.

 

Shopping bag exchange – Friends of the Houston Nature Center

Bring in your plastic shopping bags. WeÕll recycle them at Wal-Mart and give you a canvas bag for you to carry when you go shopping.
